Tip For Free Food When Traveling

Free Food with School Report CardUtilizing free kids meal certificates, especially those that don’t require an adult purchase, is one of my favorite methods to cut costs when traveling. I have been known to order from the kids menu at restaurants or hotel room service if it doesn’t list a maximum age.

Kid’s meals are cheaper and the portion size doesn’t leave me stuffed. If you are 6’7” tall like Mr. MoneyandMap, you might find a kid’s meal more of a snack – certainly not a meal.

At this time of year there are plenty of places that offer free food as a reward for good grades on their report card. If you homeschool your kids and don’t have official report cards, look for printable report card templates on the internet. Alternatively, follow this link to google docs for a fillable report card template or click to print the same form as a PDF.
