Marriott promotions are pretty similar to their hotel rooms – consistent. Yesterday was the start of their Spring MegaBonus for one of 3 target offers (see below.) My favorite offer is for the free night(s) at a category 1 to 4 hotel. To help us maximize our free night award, I put together a list of Marriott category 4 hotels. Hopefully I’ll finish my spreadsheet listing all Marriott Hotels by category within the next couple of months.
Mr. Map and I register for these promotions separately to get 4 free nights (2 from his account and 2 from mine.) We try to use our free nights for a nice getaway. However, this weekend I’m using one of the free nights earned from last quarter at my favorite dysfunctional Courtyard. (More on that later.) Teenager has a swimming event which requires an overnight stay and I wanted to cut the cost a bit.
